Physical Health Benefits

  • Drumming is cardio. Exercise is good!

  • When drumming we release endorphins and enkephalins, and we feel good about ourselves!

  • Drumming boosts the immune system, increasing natural T-cells, helping the body combat cancer and other viruses.

Mental Health Benefits

  • Drumming is a workout for your brain. Research shows that the transmission of rhythmical energy to the brain synchronises the non-verbal lower area and the language/reasoning frontal cortex parts of the brain, producing clearer insight and certainty.

  • Drumming increases the brain’s output of Alpha waves which make us feel calm and relaxed, looking after our mental health.

Workplace Benefits

  • Drumming brings greater cohesion to a team, allowing a voice for all and demonstrating the importance of each role in the creation of a harmonious output.

  • Drumming enhances communication skills, supercharging the levels of connectedness and understanding within a team.

What our Clients say…

‘Sam and Jack were brilliant facilitators and delivered thoroughly enjoyable sessions to our site teams. From a lively warm up to a full-on samba ensemble piece, it is a super engaging activity where everyone plays an important part. We’ve had quite a few team building activities in the last few years, but this is certainly one of the most enjoyable and memorable and very inclusive. I would highly recommend it.’ Helen Smith, Apprentice & Early Talent Lead, GSK

‘From our team it was a huge 10/10 experience that we would highly recommend. The session with Sam and Jacob created a safe space that appealed to all personality types and got everyone off their computers for a couple of hours and mixing it up a bit!’ Michelle Cooper, Chief Executive, County Durham Community Foundation
