Can You Hear Me Now?

Jackass Youth Theatre have been busy this year, devising a new production with the fantastic team at Resound Theatre!

Investing in Children - Young People's Page have supported a fantastic young persons research project - Seen and Heard - which has delved into the all too often untold histories of children and young people. Since February, Jackass Youth Theatre have been creatively responding to this research, expertly guided by Matt and Elliot from Resound Theatre.

The result is their new production, Can You Hear Me Now? which you can see for free in June at two local venues:

1st June, 7pm @ St Cuthbert's Centre, Church Hill, Crook, Co Durham, DL15 9DN (followed by a post show discussion with members of Jackass Youth Theatre and Seen and Heard)

8th June, 7pm @ Quebec Village Hall, Front Street, Quebec, DH7 9DF (followed by local musical entertainment)

If you would like to reserve a ticket, get in touch via the details on the e-flyer.

We look forward to seeing you to celebrate the wonderful creativity of our young people together.

This is just the beginning, together with Investing in Children, we want to change the narrative regarding the historical documenting of the lives of young people across County Durham.

This project has been supported by The National Lottery Community and Heritage Funds.
