Do you want to learn about how electronic music is created? Are you Interested in maths, science and music? Do you find yourself wondering how a certain sound in a song was created?
If yes then join Jack Burton professional musician, performer and DJ for our 10 week course.

This course will satisfy those interests and give you a basic understanding of synthesis, Digital Audio Workstations and a range of techniques used in the creation of electronic music.
We’ll learn about the building blocks of electronic music – beats, synths, samples and arrangements, through analysis of existing songs and exploration of a range of software and hardware synths.

We’ll put our learning into practice to create a few of our own bangers. We may even release them online! Following the course, you’ll be ready to begin creating your own tracks.
We’ll be working remotely on Jack’s laptop, working in Ableton, the industry standard Digital Audio Workstation for electronic music production. To take part in the course, you’ll ideally have a laptop and headphones but do get in touch if this might be an issue as we have some kit we can loan young people.
