Call-out for Storytellers!

Do you tell a great story? Can you weave a good yarn? Do you love the magic of Christmas? Then we need YOU!

We’re looking for 24 people of all ages from our community to read their favourite festive story on-camera for our online ‘Advent Storytelling’ film series with as many as possible told by young people from local schools! Last year we reached over 30 thousand views across our advent story series despite the challenges of lockdown so we are really looking forward to producing this fun count down to Christmas all over again.

Beginning December 1st we will release a story every day until the grand finale on Christmas Eve.

Stories can be read by individuals, pairs or small groups.

Last year we had a storyteller with a sensory impairment who performed using British Sign Language so this year we are eager to represent more storytellers from all backgrounds and abilities.
